Triple P (positive Parenting Program) — Stepping Stones

Hello Twin County Autism Families!

I hope this post finds you well.

Most of us are probably with our children all day long during this health crisis.  So, this may be the perfect time to work on skills we have been putting off for when we have more time! Maybe you need help with: potty training, your child’s eating habits, techniques to use for aggression, or calming anxiety fears.

Down East Partnership for Children has a Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) component titled “Stepping Stones” that specifically helps parents who have children with special needs.  These sessions can be modified to do over the phone to help families while our state is under a Stay at Home order.  The State of North Carolina gives this program to parents FREE.

If you are interested in discussing some of these topics, please email Susan Wallace at swallace@depc.org, or message her from the Twin County Autism FB page.  We can set up a time to discuss your concerns and hopefully get your family on a positive track to overcoming challenges!

Here are additional topics to explore!
